REGISTERED NURSING ASSISTANT(RNA)/ LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
 
Field of activities
 
Under the authority of the Executive Director and the direct supervision of the Nurse at Riverside Elder’s Home, the RNA/LPN contributes to providing personalized nursing services to each of the residents, by providing the necessary care and responding to any emergency, in accordance with the standards of the profession.

Pre-requisites
 
  • Must be a member of the College of Nursing Assistants of Quebec and have a valid license;
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience within this field; as well as a minimum of one-year experience in gerontology and geriatrics;
  • Good organizational and communication skills;
  • Must be able to work collaboratively within a team setting;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Experience working in a First Nations community is an asset;
  • First aid/CPR training is mandatory.
 
Working conditions
 
  • Type of position: Full Time (35 hrs. weekly)
  • Location: Riverside Elders Home 518 Ste-Philomene Kanesatake Quebec J0N 1E0
  • Salary: Based on qualifications and echelons
  • Probation period: 6 months
